This regulation establishes a tolerance for combined residues of carfentrazone-ethyl and its metabolite carfentrazone-chloropropionic acid in or on the cereal grain crop group. In addition, the tolerance expression for the commodity corn, field, forage established in 40 CFR 180.515(a) is being raised from 0.1 parts per million (ppm) to 0.2 ppm to harmonize with the proposed tolerance on corn, sweet, forage under the cereal grain crop group. FMC Corporation requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
