Abstract

EPA is approving the request to redesignate Shelby County, Tennessee, from nonattainment to attainment for the lead primary national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS). The request was submitted on February 15, 2001, by the Memphis and Shelby County Health Department (MSCHD) through the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).
