Abstract
EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Rhode Island. This revision establishes a post-1996 rate of progress (ROP) emission reduction plan for the Providence serious ozone nonattainment area in Rhode Island. The intended effect of this action is to approve this SIP revision as meeting the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
