Clean Air Act Full Approval of Operating Permits Program in Alaska

EPA is taking final action to fully approve the operating permits program submitted by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (Alaska) for the purpose of complying with federal requirements for an approvable State program to issue operating permits to all major stationary sources, and to certain other sources. EPA published final interim approval to Alaska's air operating permit program on December 5, 1996. Alaska has revised its operating permits program to satisfy the conditions of the interim approval and this action approves those revisions.
