Abstract

This regulation establishes a tolerance for combined residues of bentazon (3-isopropyl-1H-2,1,3-Benzothiadiazin-4(3H)-one-2,2- dioxide) and its 6- and 8-hydroxy metabolites in or on Flax, seed at 1.0 ppm. BASF Corporation, Agricultural Products Division requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
