This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for combined residues of sethoxydim and its metabolites containing the 2- cyclohexen-1-one moiety (calculated as the herbicide) in or on safflower, milk; and meat byproducts of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, and sheep. This action is in response to EPA's granting of an emergency exemption under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizing use of the pesticide on safflower. This regulation establishes maximum permissible levels for residues of sethoxydim in these food commodities. The tolerances will expire and are revoked on December 31, 2003.
