This regulation establishes tolerances for combined residues of chlorothalonil and its metabolite, 4-hydroxy-2,5,6- trichloroisophthalonitrile (SDS-3701) in or on almonds (nutmeats), almond hulls, asparagus, mangoes, non-bell peppers, and pistachios. In addition, tolerances for the metabolite SDS-3701 are established for milk and meat commodities. ISK Biosciences Corporation and the Interregional Research Project Number 4 (IR-4) requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
