Abstract
EPA is finalizing approval of a revision to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). This action was proposed in the Federal Register on June 5, 2002 and concerns the federal recognition of variances from certain rule requirements. Under authority of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act), this action will approve SCAQMD Rule 518.2.
