Abstract

We are taking direct final action to amend the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) for Pesticide Active Ingredient (PAI) Production. This amendment will extend the compliance date of the PAI Production NESHAP as currently promulgated by 18 months. Under the promulgated rule, the compliance date is June 23, 2002. With this action, existing sources will be required to comply with the rule by December 23, 2003.
