Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern nitrogen oxides (NO<INF>X</INF>) emissions from fuel burning equipment and from boilers, steam generators, process heaters, and from water heaters. We are approving local rules under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act).
