This regulation establishes a tolerance for residues of pyriproxyfen in or on atemoya, biriba, cherimoya, custard apple, ilama, soursop, and sugar apple at 0.20 parts per million (ppm); avocado, black sapote, canistel, mamey sapote, mango, papaya, sapodilla and star apple at 1.0 ppm; okra at 0.02 ppm; fig at 0.30 ppm; and fig, dried at 1.0 ppm. The Interregional Research Project Number 4 (IR-4) requested these tolerances under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (FQPA).
