Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) and the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (MBUAPCD) portions of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions from organic solvents, animal reduction, leather processing, and industries coating glass products. We are approving and rescinding local rules that regulate these emissions sources under authority of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act)).
