Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern Oxides of Nitrogen (NO<INF>X</INF>) emissions from Portland cement kilns. We are approving a local rule that regulates these emission sources under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act).
