Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action to approve a revision to the Commonwealth of Virginia State Implementation Plan (SIP). The revision establishes regulations for the control of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from solvent metal cleaning operations in the Northern Virginia portion of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Ozone Nonattainment Area (Northern Virginia Area). EPA is approving this revision to the Commonwealth of Virginia SIP in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA).
