Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (MBUAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). The revisions concern the emission of particulate matter (PM-10) from open outdoor burning. We are approving a local rule and removing rescinded local rules that regulate this emission source under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act).
