Abstract

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of amides, C<INF>5</INF>-C<INF>9</INF>, N- [3-(dimethylamino)propyl]; (CAS Reg. No. 1044764-00-2) and amides, C<INF>6</INF>-C<INF>12</INF>, N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]; (CAS Reg. No. 1044764-06-8) when used as inert ingredients (surfactants) in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest. Monsanto Company submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of amides, C<INF>5</INF>-C<INF>9</INF>, N-[3- (dimethylamino)propyl]; (CAS Reg. No. 1044764-00-2) and amides, C<INF>6</INF>-C<INF>12</INF>, N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]; (CAS Reg. No. 1044764-06-8).
