This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of [alpha]-[p-(1,1,3,3- tetramethylbutyl)phenyl]-[omega]-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene) (CAS Reg. Nos. 9036-19-5, 9002-93-1) when used as an inert ingredient at levels not to exceed 7% in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest. The Joint Inerts Task Force, Cluster Support Team Number 5 submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of [alpha]-[p-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl]-[omega]- hydroxypoly(oxyethylene).
