This document establishes a tolerance for residues of the insecticide benzoic acid, 3,5-dimethyl-1-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2-(4- ethylbenzoyl)hydrazide, in or on the raw agricultural commodity walnuts. The Rohm & Haas Co. requested this regulation pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for residues of benzoic acid in or on the commodity.
