Abstract

EPA is approving a state implementation plan (SIP) revision submitted on May 19, 1994, January 17, 1992, September 24, 1992 and August 5, 1994, by the State of North Carolina, through the North Carolina Department of Environmental Management (NCDEM). This revision modifies the implementation of a basic motor vehicle inspection and maintenance (I/M) program in the areas of Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
