Abstract

Pursuant to section 107(d)(3) of the Clean Air Act (CAA), the EPA is taking final action to redesignate a portion of Dona Ana County, New Mexico (i.e. the Sunland Park area) from unclassifiable/attainment to nonattainment for the ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The redesignation is based upon violations of the ozone NAAQS which were monitored from 1992-1994.
