This document establishes time-limited tolerances for residues of the herbicide glufosinate ammonium (butanoic acid, 2-amino-4- (hydroxymethylphosphinyl)-, monoammonium salt) and its metabolite, 3- methylphosphinico-propionic acid, in or on various raw agricultural commodities (RAC's). AgrEvo USA Co. submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) requesting the tolerances. The document also conforms the chemical expression for the herbicide to Chemical Abstract nomenclature.
