Abstract
EPA approves the State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the state of Alaska. This revision establishes and requires the implementation of a basic motor vehicle inspection and maintenance (I/M) program in the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB). The intended effect of this action is approval of a basic motor vehicle I/M program. This action is being taken under Section 110 of the Clean Air Act.
