EPA requests comment on a petition submitted to EPA by the American Petroleum Institute (API). The petition, submitted pursuant to section 553(e) of the Administrative Procedure Act, requests reconsideration of the Phase II reformulated gasoline reduction standard for oxides of nitrogen (NO<INF>X).
