This document establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of 1,1-difluoroethane (CAS Reg. No. 75-37-6) when used as an inert ingredient (aerosol propellant) in aerosol pesticide formulations used for insect control in food- and feed- handling establishments and animals. The Dupont Company requested this regulation pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
