Abstract

This rule establishes permanent tolerances for residues of the herbicide sulfonium, trimethyl-salt with N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine (1:1) [formerly glyphosate-trimesium/ sulfosate] in or on the raw agricultural commodities almond hulls, imported bananas, the citrus fruit group, grapes and the tree nut group. In addition, this regulation establishes a two year time-limited tolerance for residues of this herbicide on the raw agricultural commodities corn, and animals. The regulations to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of the herbicide was requested in several petitions submitted by Zeneca AG Products.
