These regulations establish a food additive regulation for the residues of the herbicide sulfonium, trimethyl-salt with N- (phosphonomethyl)glycine (1:1) (formerly glyphosate-trimesium/ sulfosate) in or on the processed commodity raisins. The regulation to establish maximum permissible levels for residues of the pesticide in or on the commodity was requested in a petition submitted by Zeneca AG Products. EFFECTIVE DATE: This regulation becomes effective March 8, 1996.
