This rule establishes a tolerance for combined residues of the insecticide avermectin B<INF>1 and its delta-8,9-isomer in or on the raw agricultural commodities cucurbit vegetables group (cucumbers, melons, and squashes). The regulation to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of the insecticide was requested in a petition submitted by the Merck Research Laboratories.
