EPA has made a final determination regarding 26 food additive regulations (FARs) for 7 pesticides that were previously proposed for revocation on the grounds that the FARs violated the Delaney clause in section 409 of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). Today, EPA is revoking 13 FARs because they violate the Delaney clause and the remaining 13 FARs because they are not needed to prevent adulterated food.
