Abstract
Today, EPA is revising the procedures for modifying the requirements of approved Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) Pretreatment Programs incorporated into National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits issued to POTWs. The new regulations will reduce the administrative burden and cost associated with maintaining approved pretreatment programs without affecting environmental protection.
