Abstract
This rule amends the federal regulations by withdrawing the federal human health water quality criteria for arsenic applicable to Idaho. Idaho adopted human health criteria for arsenic and EPA subsequently approved those criteria. On November 29, 1996, EPA published a proposed rule and provided an opportunity for public comment on the withdrawal of the federal criteria for arsenic. EPA received one comment, which supported the withdrawal action.
