This document establishes tolerances for the residues of the plant growth regulator (hybridizing agent) clofencet, [2-(4- chlorophenyl)-3-ethyl-2,5-dihydro-5-oxo-4-pyridazinecarboxylic acid, potassium salt] expressed as the free acid, active ingredient code 128726, CAS No. 82697-71-0 in or on the raw agricultural commodities wheat as a primary application; in or on the cereal grains group (except rice, wild rice, sweet corn and wheat) and soybeans as rotational crops; and in animal products. Monsanto Co. submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 requesting the tolerances.
