Abstract

This regulation establishes a time-limited tolerance for combined residues of the pesticide imidacloprid in or on the raw agricultural commodity crop group, cucurbits (Crop Group 9 cucumbers, melons, and squash) in connection with EPA's granting of emergency exemptions under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act authorizing use of imidacloprid on cucurbits in Texas and California. This regulation establishes maximum permissible levels for residues of imidacloprid in these foods. This tolerance will expire on March 31, 1998. DATES: This regulation becomes effective March 19, 1997. The entry in the table expires on March 31, 1998. Objections and requests for hearings must be received by EPA on or before May 19, 1997.
