Abstract

EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This revision amends the gasoline volatility requirement for the Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley nonattainment area. The intended effect of this action is to approve a summertime gasoline Reid vapor pressure (RVP) limit of 7.8 pounds per square inch (psi) for gasoline sold in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania. These seven counties comprise the Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley ozone nonattainment area.
