This rule establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of copper ammonium complex in or on raw agricultural commodities when used in accordance with good agricultural practices as an active ingredient in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops. Chemical Specialties, Inc., submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-170), requesting this tolerance exemption.
