This regulation establishes tolerances for the fungicide difenoconazole (((2S,4R)/(2R,4S)/(2R,4R)/(2S,4S)) 1-(2-(4-(4- chlorophenoxy)-2-chlorophenyl)-4-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)methyl-1H- 1,2,4-triazole) in or on the raw agricultural commodities bananas at 0.2 parts per million (ppm); wheat forage at 0.1 ppm; wheat grain at 0.1 ppm; wheat straw at 0.1 ppm; eggs at 0.05 ppm; milk at 0.01 ppm; fat of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, poultry, and sheep at 0.05 ppm; meat of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, poultry, and sheep at 0.05 ppm; and meat byproducts of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, poultry, and sheep at 0.05 ppm. Novartis Crop Protection, Inc. requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
