This regulation establishes tolerances for combined residues of imidacloprid and its metabolites containing the 6-chloropyridinyl moiety in or on cucurbit vegetables (Crop Group 9) at 0.5 parts per million (ppm), tuberous and corm vegetable subgroup at 0.3 ppm, dasheen leaves at 3.5 ppm, and watercress (upland) at 3.5 ppm. The Interregional Research Project Number 4 (IR-4) New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station requested these tolerances under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
