Abstract

On December 2, 1994, the EPA issued the ``National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Halogenated Solvent Cleaning'' (59 FR 61801). Today's action offers compliance options for continuous web cleaning machines, as well as amendments to the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) that apply to steam- heated vapor cleaning machines and to cleaning machines used to clean transformers. The EPA is approving these amendments to ensure that all owners or operators of solvent cleaning machines have appropriate and attainable requirements for their cleaning machines.
