Abstract

This action approves the municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill 111(d) plan submitted by the Air and Radiation Management Administration, Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), on March 23, 1999. The plan was submitted to fulfill requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA). The Maryland plan establishes emission limits for existing MSW landfills, and provides for the implementation and enforcement of those limits.
