This regulation establishes a permanent tolerance for pymetrozine [1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one,4,5-dihydro-6-methyl-4-[(3- pyridinylmethylene) amino]] in or on tuberous and corm vegetables (Subgroup 1-C), at 0.02 parts per million (ppm). Novartis Crop Protection, Inc. of Greensboro, North Carolina 27419, requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
