Abstract
EPA is taking direct final action on revisions to the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). The revisions concern rules from the Amador County Air Pollution Control District (ACAPCD) and the Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District (NSCAPCD). This action will remove these rules from the federally approved SIP. The intended effect of this action is to remove rules from the SIP in accordance with the Clean Air Act, as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act). Thus, EPA is finalizing the removal of these rules from the California SIP under provisions of the CAA regarding EPA action on SIP submittals and SIPs for national primary and secondary ambient air quality standards.
