Abstract

Track 4 -Whole Genome Sequencing Narrative Arizona is planning to continue as a founding member of FDA’s GenomeTrakr program through the continued sequencing of 400 isolates of Salmonella, E. coli, Campylobacter and Listeria monocytogenes per year. The Arizona GenomeTrakr collaborative (Arizona State Public Health Lab and the Translational Genomics Research Laboratory) will be able to achieve the desired quality assurance and coverage goals and have already identified greater than 1000 isolates of target organisms that can be considered for whole genome sequencing in this project.
