Abstract

Project Summary The overarching goal of the AMP-AD 2.0 research plan is to generate and analyze RNAseq, whole genome sequencing (WGS) and proteomic data from the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and conduct comparative studies using the data generated on this project with the AMP-AD RNAseq, WGS and proteomic data generated on Caucasian cohorts in AMP-AD 1.0. In addition to generating genomic and proteomic data on diverse post- mortem brain samples, this project will also generate WGS and proteomic data on CSF and matching plasma samples collected from additional 325 diverse well-phenotyped individuals (Emory Cohorts). The 325 CSF/plasma samples (including ~146 African Americans) are from individuals with cognitive data. This supplement will support the WGS from these 325 participants that will be integrated with additional proteomic data (CSF and plasma).
