The Board is publishing revisions to Regulation Z, which implements the Truth in Lending Act, and to the staff commentary to the regulation. Regulation Z is revised to add an interpretative rule of construction providing that where the word "amount" is used in the regulation to describe disclosure requirements, it refers to a numerical amount. The staff commentary is revised to provide guidance on consumers' exercise of the right to rescind certain home-secured loans. In addition, several technical revisions to the staff commentary are being published.
