VEHICLE REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE AT 15 TO 20MPH, AND THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. IT EXPLODED AND TORE OFF THE STEERING COLUMN INTO HALF. DEALER SAID THAT IT WA S NORMAL FOR AN AIRBAG TO EXPLODE. *AK
