The Awning installed on the Camper Trailer has two horizontal folding arms that support the awning extended. A vertically oriented rubber bumper on the folding arm secures the arms in place under the rolled awning during transport. A second rubber bumper horizontally oriented on the arms prevent contact between the arm and the trailer. The design allows the vertical bumper to disengage during transport. The folded arm will swing away from the trailer approximately 1-2 feet. The design uses two pairs set screws to adjust the angular orientation of the two arms. These screws are prone to wear and/or loosen which causes the loss of adjustment. This adjustment may or may not contribute to the tendency of the vertical bumper becoming dislodged. The event of having the vertical bumper on the FRONT arm become dislodged and the front arm swing out approximately 1 - 2 feet occurred several times on the subject trailer early in the use of the trailer before a solution was found. A rubber stopper with a hole was secured to the side of the trailer and the horizontally oriented rubber bumper was inserted into the hole when the awning was retracted for transport. The arm was prevented from slipping down and out by the horizontally oriented bumper being supported by the hole in the rubber stopper. The event of having the vertically oriented rubber bumper become dislodged and the arm swing out approximately 1 - 2 feet occurred on the REAR arm of the subject trailer. The traile
