UNKNOWN Our F-150 was hit by a driver from a side street. The whole passenger side was damaged, front fender replaced, front door replace, post repaired, back door replaced, back panel of truck replaced, and back wheel. The long step was pushed up and under vehicle. It was replaced as well. The side airbag did not engage. I was thrown around in the passenger seat. I experienced a contusion on my right knee and three days later diagnosed with side impact whiplash. The truck was declared not safe to drive while we were trying to get estimates for repairs. They were concerned that the airbag didnât go off and the door was not closing correctly even after they tried to tweak it. Our truck was towed off by the insurance company to a secured site until we could get it towed for repairs. We were never told why the airbag didnât go off.
