I was driving home on January 1, 2023 at 5 AM at about 60 mph on an interstate when I heard a sound come from the back of my car and then looked into the rearview mirror and smelled smoke and saw fire flames in my rear and side mirrors. I tried to use my brakes to stop my car, but the brakes would not work, so I took it out of Drive and put it into park⦠which slowed the car down and I was able to exit the car right before it burst into flames. The car is now a total loss.
