12/02/2022 while parking the vehicle in a parking spot in a parking garage, vehicle suddenly lurched forward causing the vehicle to hit the parking garage cement wall. This caused him to hit his head very hard on the steering wheel. The air bag deployed after he hit his head. The Air Bag did not protect him. He did not hit the accelerator pedal, and the vehicle accelerated by itself, which caused it to hit the parking garage wall. Shortly after this occurrence; he was at the Post Office, to drop mail in the mail box, and he very slightly removed his foot from the brake pedal to move the vehicle up a foot or two, and the vehicle lurched ahead approximately four to six feet. Again, he did not hit the accelerator pedal. Luckily, there was no other car in front of him or the vehicle might have hit it. Prior to the self acceleration of the vehicle in the parking garage and at the Post Office, this issue occurred while he was driving on the highway. He was going 55 mph and the vehicle suddenly went 75 mph. He was at a place where there is an exit, and he would not go that fast at this particular area. He explains he did not accelerate the car himself. He was so concerned about the vehicle self accelerating that he immediately got off of the highway to look under the hood to see if there was some explanation for this.
