Hello, I am writing to file a complaint regarding the seatbelt mechanism in my Genesis vehicle and to request an investigation into the issue. The seatbelt system in my car rapidly retracts with no slack. This excessive force can potentially cause serious injuries. Unfortunately, my family and I recently experienced a devastating consequence of this issue. On April 9th, 2022, we were involved in a rear-end collision. We would like to get an answer from if aggressive retraction of the seatbelt, could've resulted in the loss of our unborn child. We are heartbroken and concerned about the safety.
