The contact owns a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach E. The contact stated that while the wife was driving the vehicle and approaching oncoming traffic the vehicle was stopped. Immediately after stopping the pre-collision warning activated and the vehicle suddenly experienced unintended acceleration crashing into the rear of a second vehicle and pushing the vehicle nearly 50 feet into and across the street intersection. During the incident the driver sustained an injured neck, the front passenger sustained an injured neck and fractured left wrist. Both occupants required medical treatment. Also, the second vehicle's occupant sustained an unknown injury. No further information was available. A police report was taken at the scene and both vehicles were towed to an undisclosed location.
